So, drop at the point nearest to where the ball entered the water?

    well fuck.

Hopefully the damage is minimal except for the area shown, and hopefully the cleanup goes smoothly and quickly.

  3. Man Arizona be like that. Mostly no rain but sometimes all rain.

Sam Burns – “is this considered standing water?”

Rules official – “Nope, you are gonna have to play it as it lies”

  5. Standing juuust a bit too close to flooding water there bud

So do you get a refund? I assume they could argue that rain was on the schedule so it was up to you if you wanted to play.

I always doubted those drainage actually filling up and raging. Well, I was very wrong. Handy when they’re dry and you need to scramble a shot.

  11. People are far too comfortable filming natural disasters up close. Personally I’m not getting within 30 yards of that waters edge.

You have no idea what’s going on below the water/land surface especially during a flash flood event. The odds of the ground below you getting washed out is low but far from zero and only goes up the closer you get to the edge.

Welp, greens are a little slower than usual.

Question from a selfish AZ golfer. How does this impact overseed season which is usually now? Did all of the seeds just get washed away and now golf season is gonna be pushed back a few extra weeks?

It’s so sad when the weather is finally nice but courses are closed

Oh, no. Not the shitty sod that ruins the topsoil and makes it so water won’t penetrate more than a few inches into soil?!??!? Not the absolutely abysmal environmental footprint of my bougiosie pastime?!?

    How terrible.
